The Yorick Moment from Star Wars Episode 7?

Well, a dark Yorick moment anyway.  Spoilers ahead:

Many websites have been reporting that it is indeed Kylo Ren that we’ve seen in the leaked images of a figure holding the charred remains of Darth Vader’s helmet.

They describe the scene as one of a hooded figure, a partial cyborg, speaking to the mask while alone in a padded room.

Sounds familiar, and from Shakespeare!  In a Hamlet monologue, while holding the skull of his dead court jester, Prince Hamlet laments:

Alas, poor Yorick! I knew him, Horatio; a fellow of infinite jest, of most excellent fancy; he hath borne me on his back a thousand times; and now, how abhorred in my imagination it is! My gorge rises at it. Here hung those lips that I have kissed I know not how oft. Where be your gibes now? Your gambols? Your songs? Your flashes of merriment, that were wont to set the table on a roar? (Hamlet, V.i)

While Kylo Ren may never have “known” Darth Vader, it certainly seems like he might be man-crushing big time.
